Molds Engineer

About the role

The Molds Engineer will lead the mechanical design, development, and continuous improvement of new and existing mould‑related products for Besser Company. Working within the Engineering department, you will translate project specifications into detailed models, drawings, and bill‑of‑materials while ensuring feasibility, cost efficiency, and timely release.

Key responsibilities

• Originate and develop product designs based on defined project specifications.
• Create detailed mechanical models, drawings, and bills‑of‑materials for the product line.
• Evaluate technical feasibility, optimize designs, and resolve production issues.
• Manage project costs, margins, and target release dates.
• Apply lean manufacturing principles to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams and perform other duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• At least three years of industry experience in mechanical design.
• Three years of hands‑on experience with SolidWorks.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Willingness to travel as required.
