Manager, Enterprise Data Solutions

About the role

Choice Properties is seeking a self‑starter Manager, Enterprise Data Solutions to lead the design, development and delivery of data and reporting solutions. The role combines hands‑on technical work with strategic oversight, ensuring data accuracy, scalability and performance across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the end‑to‑end creation of data models, semantic layers, dashboards and analytics.
• Translate business requirements into clear technical specifications for reporting and data platforms.
• Manage data solutions as enterprise products, driving report rationalisation, lifecycle management and usage monitoring.
• Oversee contractors and vendor resources, setting priorities and providing technical guidance.
• Partner with IT and application teams to align reporting initiatives with cloud architecture and enterprise standards.
• Implement data‑governance frameworks, including metadata management, data‑quality rules, lineage and stewardship.
• Enforce governance, privacy and compliance policies in collaboration with governance councils and security teams.
• Identify opportunities for improving data accuracy, consistency and decision intelligence.
• Present solutions and insights to senior leadership and deliver data‑literacy training.

Required profile

• Post‑secondary education with at least 5 years of experience in data and analytics, business intelligence or data governance.
• Minimum 2 years of experience managing technical teams or contractors.
• Strong analytical mindset with a service‑oriented attitude.

Required skills

• Microsoft Power BI – designing dashboards, semantic models and enterprise reporting.
• Dimensional modeling – star schema, facts, dimensions and KPI design.
• Data‑governance concepts – metadata management, data quality, lineage and stewardship.
