Lot Associate – Automotive Sales Support

About the role

OpenRoad Volkswagen Burnaby is seeking a full‑time Lot Associate to support vehicle delivery and lot maintenance. You will ensure vehicles are ready for customers, maintain a clean and organized lot, and assist sales and service teams as needed.

Key responsibilities

• Report any supply, equipment, or safety concerns to management.
• Start all vehicles, check batteries and recharge dead ones.
• Keep inventory neat, showroom vehicles spotless, and wash vehicles after service.
• Notify the Pre‑Owned Manager of any issues with used vehicles.
• Maintain a clean work area, free of debris, and ensure delivery zones are clear.
• Shovel, sand, and clear snow/ice from lot doorways and vehicles during winter.
• Transport customers, parts, personnel, and paperwork as requested by sales or service managers.
• Perform additional tasks such as washing customer cars or emptying trash to support smooth operations.

Required profile

• Valid British Columbia driver’s licence with a clean abstract.
• Ability to work cooperatively with other employees.
• Ability to operate assigned equipment safely.
• Strong decision‑making aligned with job functions.
• Attention to detail and high quality‑control standards.
• Ability to meet deadlines effectively.
