On-Premise Chain & Key Account Manager

About the role

Charton Hobbs, one of Canada’s largest privately‑held wine and spirits importers, is seeking an On‑Premise Chain & Key Account Manager to cover maternity leave until October 2026. The role focuses on managing key accounts and building partnerships with regional restaurant chains across Vancouver and Whistler.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, including regional chains and strategic partners.
• Identify, negotiate, and establish agreements with restaurant chains to promote and distribute our portfolio.
• Create and execute strategic account plans and tailored promotions in collaboration with marketing.
• Set and achieve sales targets, analysing data to uncover growth opportunities.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (marketing, distribution, supply chain) to ensure seamless execution.
• Conduct regular business reviews and act as the primary point of contact for chain partners.

Required profile

• Post‑secondary education in Business, Marketing or a related field (preferred).
• Proven key‑account management experience in the beverage‑alcohol industry, especially with regional chains.
• Strong understanding of industry trends, competitor activity and market dynamics.
• Excellent negotiation, communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Proficiency with CRM systems and related software.
• WSET or similar certifications are a plus.
• Availability for evenings, weekends and occasional travel.
