Locum Family Physician – Vancouver (Medium Term)

About the role

Join VyCare Medical Clinic in Vancouver as a locum Family Physician for medium‑term assignments (2‑8 weeks). You can work full‑time or part‑time with complete flexibility and no on‑call duties.

Key responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive primary‑care services to patients of all ages.
• Perform clinical procedures such as biopsies, pap smears, IUD insertions, laceration repairs, pediatric vaccinations and cryotherapy.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team that includes RNs, LPNs, a clinical pharmacist, a dermatologist and a podiatrist.
• Maintain accurate electronic medical records and ensure smooth patient flow.
• Utilise two fully equipped examination rooms per physician.

Required profile

• CPSBC licence (or provisional licence) is mandatory.
• Experience in family medicine or primary‑care practice.
• Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced clinic environment.
