Breast Imaging Radiologist (Hybrid)

About the role

The Vancouver Breast Centre seeks a highly skilled Breast Imaging Radiologist to join a multidisciplinary team. This hybrid position combines in‑office imaging interpretation with remote reporting, supporting early detection of breast disease.

Key responsibilities

• Interpret diagnostic mammography (2D and 3D/tomosynthesis) and breast ultrasound studies.
• Provide timely, accurate reports and communicate findings to referring physicians and patients.
• Collaborate with the Medical Director and technologists to optimise imaging protocols and maintain quality standards.
• Participate in quality assurance, peer review, and accreditation activities (CAR MAP, DAP).
• Stay current with advances in breast imaging technology and Canadian clinical guidelines.

Required profile

• Board‑certified radiologist practising in British Columbia with a valid College registration.
• Minimum 10 years of radiology experience, including at least 5 years in breast imaging.
• Ability to work in an interdisciplinary team and adapt to a fast‑changing environment.
• Medical liability coverage through CMPA.

Required skills

• Diagnostic mammography (2D and 3D/tomosynthesis).
• Breast ultrasound interpretation.
• Use of EMR, PACS, and RIS systems.
