Dental Receptionist

About the role

We are an upscale multi‑specialty dental practice in downtown Vancouver seeking a professional Dental Receptionist to manage patient communication, scheduling, and front‑desk operations. This full‑time position plays a key role in enhancing new‑patient booking rates while delivering a premium experience.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome new patient inquiries, guide them through appointment scheduling via phone and email, and build rapport.
• Optimize new‑patient booking rates and lead conversions through strategic follow‑up and relationship building.
• Manage referrals from other dental offices with priority attention.
• Coordinate and optimize the practice schedule across multiple specialists, ensuring efficient appointment flow.
• Track scheduling patterns, maintain accurate records of patient interactions, and continuously improve accessibility.
• Process insurance claims, collaborate with the clinical team for smooth patient flow, and support administrative team members.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years experience in a dental practice or high‑end hospitality/sales environment.
• Proven success in patient scheduling, practice coordination, and lead conversions.
• Exceptional interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills in English.
• Reliable, able to handle multiple priorities while maintaining quality.

Required skills

• Familiarity with dental practice management software (e.g., Curve, Weave, Clover) – advantage.
• Proficiency with Google Workspace (Gmail, Google Drive).
• Experience or willingness to learn CRM or practice management tools.
• Experience or openness to project‑management tools such as Asana.
• Willingness to adapt to new technologies, including AI tools.
