Certified Dental Assistant (CDA)

About the role

We are looking for a Certified Dental Assistant to join our multi‑specialty practice in downtown Vancouver. The role involves chair‑side support for prosthodontic, periodontic and orthodontic procedures and delivering top‑notch patient care.

Key responsibilities

• Assist specialists chair‑side during restorative, surgical and orthodontic procedures.
• Set up and turnover operatories, handle digital radiographs, CBCT scans, digital impressions and photographs.
• Provide post‑operative instructions, greet patients, conduct introductory interviews and draft clinical notes.
• Review estimates and treatment plans with patients, check them out, schedule follow‑ups and collect payments.
• Manage instrument sterilization, equipment maintenance checks and maintain infection‑control standards.

Required profile

• Current Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) certification in British Columbia.
• Minimum two years of CDA experience, preferably in a specialty office.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency in dental radiography and digital imaging.
• Experience with digital impressions and intra‑oral photography.
• Knowledge of dental practice management software.
