Live-in Nanny – Full-time Childcare in Vancouver

About the role

We are seeking a caring and reliable nanny to provide full-time, live-in (optional) childcare for a family in Vancouver, BC. The role involves supporting the parents in daily child-rearing tasks and maintaining a safe, nurturing home environment.

Key responsibilities

• Change diapers, assist with toilet training, and attend to infants’ hygiene needs.
• Prepare, sterilise bottles and formula, and feed infants and children.
• Plan and serve nutritious meals and snacks.
• Supervise children’s activities, emotional well‑being, and social development.
• Maintain daily activity and health records for each child.
• Perform light housekeeping, laundry, ironing, and linen care.
• Travel with the family on trips, providing supervision and assistance.
• Discipline children according to parents’ guidelines.

Required profile

• Secondary school graduation (high school) certificate.
• 1–2 years of professional childcare experience.
• Ability to work full‑time, with optional live‑in accommodation (not a condition of employment).
• Reliable transportation options (public transit available).
