About the role
We are looking for a reliable home child care provider to support a family in Vancouver, BC. The role involves caring for children and managing household tasks while ensuring a safe, nurturing environment.
Key responsibilities
- Assume full responsibility for the household in the parents’ absence, including light housekeeping and cleaning.
- Instruct children in personal hygiene, social development, and organize games and outings.
- Prepare and serve nutritious meals and supervise children’s daily activities.
- Transport children to and from school and appointments, and tend to their emotional well‑being.
Required profile
- Secondary school graduation (high school diploma).
- 1‑6 months of child‑care experience.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills and patience.
- Ability to work in a non‑smoking home environment.
Required skills
- Current CPR certification.
- Current First Aid certification.
- Clear criminal record check and valid driver’s licence.
