Site Supervisor - Cleaning Services

About the role

Commercial Cleaning Services is seeking a Site Supervisor for its Trenton, ON facility. The supervisor will lead a team of janitorial staff, ensuring high‑quality cleaning, safety, and customer satisfaction while adhering to contract requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain exceptional customer service through regular communication with onsite representatives and prompt resolution of service quality issues.
• Prepare shift schedules and work assignments in line with contract requirements to ensure efficient service delivery.
• Promote a healthy and safe work environment by enforcing safe operating policies and procedures.
• Support training of new employees and manage ordering of supplies, tools, and equipment.
• Conduct regular inspections to verify cleaning standards are met and perform cleaning duties as needed.
• Manage communication via radio and perform other duties as reasonably required.

Required profile

• Minimum two years of experience in a leadership role within the facility services industry.
• Strong knowledge of cleaning best practices, sustainable products, tools, and equipment.
• Demonstrated people‑management, planning, and organizational abilities.
• Problem‑solving skills and ability to handle unforeseen demands.
• Ability to pass a police background check and meet physical requirements (lift up to 40 lb, stand/walk throughout shift, bend, stretch, climb stairs, operate equipment).

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and other technology tools.
