About the role
This full‑time position provides in‑home childcare for a family in Vancouver. You will be responsible for the children’s safety, well‑being, and daily routine while supporting the household in the parents’ absence.
Key responsibilities
- Assume full responsibility for the household when parents are away.
- Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties.
- Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development.
- Maintain a safe and healthy home environment.
- Organise games, activities and outings for the children.
- Prepare and serve nutritious meals.
- Supervise and care for children throughout the day.
- Transport children to and from school, appointments and extracurricular activities.
- Support the emotional well‑being of the children.
Required profile
- Patience and a caring attitude.
- 1 to less than 7 months of relevant experience.
- Valid CPR and First Aid certificates.
- Clear criminal record check.
- Valid driver’s licence and ability to travel as needed.
- Medical examination clearance.
