Live-in Caregiver for Seniors

About the role

We are seeking a compassionate live‑in caregiver to support an elderly client in a private Vancouver home. The position offers flexible day or night shifts and optional accommodation at no charge, though housing is not a condition of employment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide bedside and personal care, including assistance with bathing, dressing, and mobility.
• Administer prescribed medications safely and accurately.
• Assist with feeding or prepare nutritious meals and serve them.
• Laundry clothing and household linens.
• Offer companionship and emotional support.

Required profile

• Secondary school graduation.
• 7 months to less than 1 year of caregiving experience.
• Ability to pass a criminal record check.
• Reliability, punctuality, honesty, patience, and strong client focus.
• Comfort working in a fast‑paced, repetitive environment under pressure.

Required skills

• Basic caregiving techniques and medication administration.
