Legal Engineer

About the role

Harvey’s Legal Engineers are former practicing lawyers who act as a bridge between customers, sales, and product teams. They translate real legal workflows into Harvey’s AI‑powered solutions, helping lawyers work faster, more accurately, and with greater confidence.

Key responsibilities

• Work directly with lawyers at current and prospective customers to uncover workflow pain points, recommend solutions, and demonstrate how Harvey fits into real legal work.
• Serve as the voice of the customer, translating feedback and legal workflow insights into concrete, lawyer‑ready product direction.
• Partner closely with product, engineering, sales, and marketing to shape Harvey’s roadmap and ensure the product evolves in ways lawyers trust and adopt.
• Build and refine product demonstrations, workflows, and use cases that reflect how legal teams actually work, including how AI is changing that work.
• Introduce new capabilities in a tailored, credible, and compelling way for each customer, continuously raising the bar for how Harvey is deployed.

Required profile

• Comfortable navigating uncertainty and operating at speed, delivering solutions that work.
• Deep curiosity about AI’s potential to transform legal work and a bias toward action.
• Creative problem‑solver who can tackle challenges that have not yet been cracked.
• Based in Toronto and eligible to work in Canada.
• Canadian‑qualified practicing lawyer.
