Legal Counsel – Remote Contract Role

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Legal Counsel to work remotely on a contract basis. You will help shape our contract negotiation playbooks and ensure our commercial agreements meet the highest standards of clarity and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Create, review, and refine contract negotiation playbooks based on real‑world scenarios.
• Draft, analyze, and annotate a variety of commercial agreements.
• Provide expert commentary on best practices for contract management and negotiation strategies.
• Curate and supply non‑confidential transaction materials for project documentation.
• Evaluate and improve existing contract templates to enhance efficiency and mitigate risk.
• Collaborate with the micro1 team to align materials with AI‑training guidelines.
• Deliver high‑quality written and verbal feedback to improve system outputs.

Required profile

• Current or prior experience as General Counsel, Deputy General Counsel, or Assistant General Counsel with a focus on contract negotiation playbooks.
• Proven expertise in commercial contract drafting, negotiation, and management within corporate environments.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail.
• Knowledge of industry‑standard practices for contract review and risk assessment.
• Experience developing or using contract negotiation playbooks.
• Familiarity with document‑driven project assignments and sourcing eligible materials.
• Ability to work independently and provide concise, actionable insights for AI training.
