Legal Co‑op Internship – Winter 2027

About the role

Join the Legal Affairs team at BCI for a Winter 2027 co‑op term (January‑April) and support in‑house lawyers on corporate and investment‑law matters. This full‑time, on‑site position in Victoria offers hands‑on experience in a leading institutional investor.

Key responsibilities

• Review investment‑related documents, including term sheets, shareholder and limited partnership agreements.
• Research, summarize and present legal materials such as governance term sheets and investment agreements.
• Analyse and review commercial contracts tied to BCI’s daily operations.
• Contribute to BCI’s legal precedents and assist with special projects.

Required profile

• Keen interest in business law (corporate, securities, M&A, contracts).
• Detail‑oriented, accurate and strong written communication.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and high ethical standards.
• Strong research, analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Motivation to learn, openness to feedback and participation in extracurricular activities.
