About the role
BCI is seeking a seasoned legal professional to join its Capital Markets & Credit Investments team. Reporting to the Senior Director & Associate General Counsel, you will provide legal services and strategic advice across a broad range of capital markets transactions, including private funds, private credit, equities, fixed income and derivatives.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver practical, business‑focused legal advice on CMCI transactions.
- Manage complex deals from inception to completion, coordinating with internal counsel, external lawyers, business partners and paralegals.
- Act as an embedded legal partner to advance BCI’s investment strategy while protecting its interests.
- Support the Legal Affairs Department’s risk‑based, compliance‑focused approach.
Required profile
- Law degree (LL.B. or J.D.).
- Called to the bar or equivalent professional licensing.
- Extensive transactional experience in capital markets and credit investments.
- Ability to translate legal considerations into clear, business‑oriented guidance.
