Lead Wedding Planner – Luxury South Asian Weddings

About the role

Taj Raj Events is seeking an experienced Lead Wedding Planner to design and execute luxury South Asian weddings across the Greater Toronto Area. The role combines creative vision with meticulous logistics to deliver multi‑day celebrations that exceed client expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the planning and coordination of South Asian weddings, including Indian multi‑day ceremonies.
• Develop detailed timelines, budgets, and vendor contracts.
• Manage on‑site wedding day operations, directing vendors and staff.
• Maintain strong client relationships through clear, warm communication.
• Travel to wedding locations in Canada and the US as required.

Required profile

• Proven experience in wedding planning or coordination, specifically with South Asian events.
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Self‑motivated, proactive, and solution‑oriented.
• Available to work evenings and weekends throughout the GTA.
• Valid driver’s license and personal vehicle.
