Lead Land Analyst

About the role

Canada West Land (CWL) is seeking a Lead Land Analyst to head its land management team in Calgary. The role combines leadership, project oversight, and client relationship management to deliver high‑quality land solutions across Western Canada.

Key responsibilities

• Mentor and coach teammates, set goals, and provide constructive feedback to drive high performance.
• Oversee daily logistics, project scope, schedule, budget, and risk management for land acquisition projects.
• Collaborate with HR and business partners to ensure effective recruitment, onboarding, and performance management.
• Maintain quality control, audit documentation, and ensure regulatory compliance throughout project lifecycles.
• Manage client communications, build strong relationships, and identify opportunities for additional services.
• Train the team on CWL procedures, compliance, and project deliverables.

Required profile

• Post‑secondary education in Land Administration or related field (asset).
• 7+ years of experience in land administration, land agent work, or a closely related discipline.
• Excellent communication and conflict‑resolution abilities.
• Strong problem‑solving, time‑management, and organizational skills with high attention to detail.
• Customer‑focused mindset and commitment to continuous learning.
