Land Analyst

About the role

Canada West Land (CWL) is seeking a Land Analyst to support its collaborative, team‑oriented approach to land management and community engagement across Western Canada. You will work with experienced land professionals to ensure projects meet timeframes, regulatory requirements, and client expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain project schedules, objectives, and clear communication with stakeholders.
• Prepare, audit, and package land‑related documents (e.g., TWS, ROW, SL) and generate accurate third‑party request letters.
• Enter data, generate reports, and track third‑party requests using CWL’s naming conventions and databases.
• Stay current on land legislation, regulatory consultation requirements, and apply AI tools to improve productivity.

Required profile

• Post‑secondary education in land administration or related field (considered an asset).
• Previous experience in land administration or a closely related role (considered an asset).
• Strong communication, problem‑solving, time‑management, and collaborative abilities.
• High attention to detail, confidentiality, and a commitment to continuous learning.

Required skills

• Microsoft Excel for data entry, reporting, and document formatting.
• Familiarity with Artificial Intelligence tools to enhance decision‑making and efficiency.
