Senior Land Analyst

About the role

Canada West Land (CWL) is seeking a Senior Land Analyst to lead land‑related projects from its Calgary office. The role combines regulatory expertise, data management, and team training to ensure successful land acquisitions and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Direct and manage project work, maintaining scope, schedule, and communication with project teams.
• Collect data, produce status reports, and ensure quality control throughout each land acquisition project.
• Audit documentation, maintain the land database, and guarantee regulatory compliance for Alberta and British Columbia.
• Prepare, submit, and register land title documents, and manage third‑party consents.
• Train team members on procedures, safety protocols, and emerging technologies such as AI‑enhanced productivity tools.
• Stay current on legislation, regulatory consultation requirements, and health‑and‑safety standards.

Required profile

• Post‑secondary education in Land Administration or a related field (asset).
• 5+ years of experience on surface land projects, preferably in a broker environment.
• Strong knowledge of Alberta and British Columbia regulatory and consultation processes.
• Excellent communication, conflict‑resolution, and problem‑solving abilities.
• High attention to detail, organizational skills, and a customer‑focused mindset.
