Bilingual Regional Director, Origination

About the role

Equitable Bank is looking for a bilingual senior leader to originate and analyze new loan opportunities across a range of asset classes. The Regional Director will build relationships, work closely with credit and funding teams, and ensure deals move smoothly from inception to closing.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze, structure and present conventional and construction loan opportunities (including insured loans) for senior management review.
• Lead large commercial real‑estate financing transactions of $20 M+ with direct clients, mortgage brokers and new partners.
• Prepare loan summaries, issue proposals, conduct property inspections and support underwriting on account management.
• Coordinate daily communication with Origination, Credit, Funding teams and external partners to source new transactions.
• Attend industry events, promote Equitable Bank as a real‑estate and construction lender, and collaborate on marketing initiatives.

Required profile

• Post‑secondary degree in business administration, finance or a related field; specialization in real‑estate economics or valuation is an asset.
• Minimum ten years of experience in real‑estate and construction financing, including senior account‑management roles.
• Proven experience with CMHC and institutional construction loans and strong knowledge of guaranteed loan products.
