Lead Infrastructure and Domain Architect, GTCS

About the role

Manulife's Global Technology & Cyber Security Team (GTCS) is looking for a Lead Infrastructure and Domain Architect to define the strategic direction, standards and roadmap for its enterprise infrastructure and core technology platforms. You will partner with engineering, operations, security, resilience and business leaders to modernize infrastructure, simplify technology landscapes, improve resiliency and accelerate adoption of cloud and platform-based services.

Key responsibilities

• Shape the future-state architecture for infrastructure, cloud, network, end-user, workplace, observability, service management and operational platforms
• Ensure alignment with enterprise strategy, security requirements and business outcomes
• Define technology strategies and architecture roadmaps for infrastructure and platform services
• Govern large-scale technology initiatives and modernization programs

Required profile

• Significant experience in infrastructure, platform, solution, domain or enterprise architecture in complex enterprise environments
• Experience governing large-scale technology initiatives and modernization programs
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, able to influence senior leaders and technology teams
• Experience in Agile and product-oriented delivery environments

Required skills

• Cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP), infrastructure services, networking, platform engineering and distributed systems
• Infrastructure automation, DevSecOps, Infrastructure as Code and platform engineering practices
• Network architecture, connectivity, routing, switching, firewalls, load balancing, DNS and hybrid cloud

What we offer

• Expected salary range of $113,260 to $210,340 CAD, with incentive programs available
