Lead, HDRN Partnerships

About the role

ICES is seeking a Lead for the Health Data Research Network (HDRN) Partnerships team. The role will design, develop and manage a comprehensive program of external partnerships that enable multi‑regional health data studies and advance HDRN’s strategic goals.

Key responsibilities

• Lead multidisciplinary, multi‑jurisdictional teams across Canada to deliver complex partnership projects on time and within budget.
• Develop, evolve and operationalise the HDRN Canada Partnership Framework and related performance measurement tools.
• Identify, cultivate and manage a pipeline of prospective and existing partners, ensuring continuous collaboration on joint projects.
• Provide secretariat support for the HDR Alliance, including agenda planning, membership management and meeting summaries.
• Work with senior HDRN leadership to scan emerging trends, translate strategic plans into actionable roadmaps and align partnership activities with data services development.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a health‑research‑related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum 7 years of project‑management experience in health care or health services research.
• Experience working with major health, research and data partners across provinces or territories.
• Strong background in stakeholder analysis, CRM management and performance reporting.
• PMP certification is an asset.
