Infrastructure Project Finance Manager, Real Assets

About the role

PwC's Real Assets team advises governments and businesses on the financing and delivery of complex infrastructure and capital projects, covering energy, infrastructure and mining. As a Real Assets, Infrastructure Project Finance Manager, you will lead advisory engagements from initiation to completion, building strong commercial and financial acumen and sector expertise. The role follows the departure of a valued team member.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and execute infrastructure and project finance advisory engagements across a variety of asset types
• Develop, review and oversee complex financial models supporting project financing and funding analyses
• Perform financial, commercial and market analyses for infrastructure and project finance
• Stay current on the Canadian infrastructure market and identify advisory opportunities
• Build and maintain client relationships as a trusted advisor
• Train, coach and review the work of Associates and Senior Associates
• Contribute to client reports, deliverables and information memorandums
• Lead business development, including proposals, pitch decks and other marketing materials

Required profile

• Strong finance background with experience in project finance and/or infrastructure advisory or investing
• Experience in a consulting firm, lender, sponsor, developer, investor or government agency is an asset
• CFA designation preferred or actively pursued; CPA not required
• Ability to work independently in fast-moving environments and to lead, mentor and collaborate with diverse teams

Required skills

• Financial modeling, including development and review of models for infrastructure projects
• Financial forecasting and cash-flow analysis
• Familiarity with tools such as Bloomberg, Capital IQ or similar is an asset

The salary range is $87,700 - $137,700, based on skills, experience, qualifications and location; eligible employees may also join variable incentive pay programs.
