Information Technology Audit Senior Associate (Bilingual FR/EN)

About the role

PwC Canada is hiring a bilingual (French and English) Information Technology Audit Senior Associate in Montreal for its External Audit Process Assurance practice. The role helps clients optimise control activities, organisational strategy and policies and procedures, and improves internal controls around financial reporting and IT management. It follows the departure of a valued team member.

Key responsibilities

• Provide certification services, including assessment of technology risks using control frameworks such as COSO and COBIT
• Take part in IT control audits, testing of automated and manual business process controls, IT-focused internal audits, SOC audits, ISO 27001 certification and general IT security projects
• Work within deadlines and budgetary requirements set out in the planning phase
• Advise clients on operational controls and process improvement
• Document audit evidence clearly and concisely and validate its relevance and quality
• Analyse control deficiencies found during the audit and their impact on financial data and the overall audit strategy
• Maintain collaborative relationships internally with PwC teams and externally with clients
• Uphold the firm's code of ethics and business conduct

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Computer Science or a related field
• Working towards a designation such as CPA, CA, CMA, CGA, CIA, CGAP, CISA, CISM or CISSP
• Fluency in English, with French as well, to support or collaborate with English-speaking clients, colleagues and stakeholders
• Demonstrated commitment to inclusion and diversity

Required skills

• Ability to document processes and controls and to develop and run testing programs
• Strong knowledge of IT practices, standards, infrastructure risks and controls, and IT control frameworks
• Exposure to data analytics and visualization tools

The salary range is $65,600 - $109,300, depending on skills, experience, qualifications and location. Eligible employees may also take part in variable incentive pay programs.
