Industrial Construction Superintendent

About the role

We are seeking a seasoned Superintendent to lead our growing Industrial division across major projects in Western Canada. You will be responsible for the safe, efficient, and high‑quality execution of all piping activities, driving field excellence from planning through turnover.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee piping and welding work to ensure compliance with approved plans, specifications, and building codes.
• Maintain site safety standards that exceed corporate manuals and regulatory requirements.
• Update and manage construction schedules, ensuring milestones and completion dates are met.
• Coordinate equipment usage, plan ahead for requirements, and maintain equipment logs.
• Review sub‑trade invoices against purchase orders and report discrepancies.
• Hire, manage, and approve hourly staff time cards for accurate job costing.
• Prepare field change orders and submit RFIs in collaboration with engineers.
• Develop and implement three‑week look‑ahead schedules aligned with the overall project timeline.

Required profile

• 3–8 years of construction supervision experience, including at least 4 years in a superintendent or similar role.
• Strong background in industrial piping construction and pipe welding codes.
• Solid understanding of modern construction practices and all major trades.
• Proven ability to plan, schedule, and manage resources to meet project deadlines.
