Construction Labourer

About the role

We are seeking a Construction Labourer to work on various outdoor sites in Calgary. The role involves loading and unloading materials, mixing concrete or asphalt, assisting with framing, demolition and site clean‑up.

Key responsibilities

• Load, unload and transport construction materials.
• Mix, pour and spread concrete and asphalt.
• Assist in framing houses, erecting walls and building roofs.
• Assist in demolishing buildings and cleaning salvaged materials.
• Clean up chemical spills and other contaminants.
• Remove rubble and debris from construction sites.

Required profile

• Secondary school graduation certificate.
• Valid driver’s licence and ability to handle loads up to 23 kg (50 lb).
• Physically demanding work with repetitive tasks.
• Attention to detail, hand‑eye coordination and accurate work.
• Excellent oral communication, flexibility, reliability and teamwork.
• Criminal record check.
