In-Home Housekeeper & Caregiver

About the role

Comfort Keepers is seeking compassionate individuals to provide non‑medical, in‑home support that enhances comfort, dignity, and independence for clients in Victoria. As a Housekeeper‑Caregiver you will combine light housekeeping with personal companionship to help seniors live safely at home.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver attentive, non‑medical care according to each client’s personalized Plan of Care.
• Provide companionship through conversation, reading, activities, and social engagement.
• Perform light housekeeping tasks such as vacuuming, dusting, laundry, bathroom cleaning, and meal preparation.
• Observe and report any changes in a client’s physical, emotional, or mental condition.
• Maintain accurate documentation and clear communication with clients and team members.
• Participate in training, staff meetings, and ongoing education.

Required profile

• High school diploma (minimum).
• Valid CPR & First Aid certification or willingness to obtain one.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license (preferred).
• Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong communication skills and a genuine passion for helping others.
