Human Resources Officer

About the role

The Human Resources Officer will manage staff consultation, grievance procedures, recruitment and employee relations for JAZAK BUILDERS INC., a construction company based in Mississauga. This role supports managers and employees across the organization and ensures compliance with staffing policies.

Key responsibilities

• Administer staff consultation and grievance procedures.
• Provide employee assistance and counselling services.
• Prepare and post job notices and advertisements.
• Collect, screen, and interview applicants, including graduates from colleges and universities.
• Advise managers and employees on staffing policies and procedures.
• Negotiate settlements of appeals and coordinate termination processes.
• Supervise personnel clerks handling filing, typing, and record‑keeping duties.
• Review candidate inventories and notify applicants of selection results.
• Coordinate and participate in selection boards to evaluate candidates.
