Hospital Pharmacist – Grace Hospital

About the role

The Winnipeg Regional Health Authority is seeking a Hospital Pharmacist to join the Pharmacy team at Grace Hospital. Working under the Pharmacy Manager, you will support medication management for both in‑patients and out‑patients across a variety of shifts.

Key responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive pharmacy services, including dispensing, pharmacotherapy monitoring, and drug information.
• Deliver education to healthcare staff and patients on medication use.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe and effective medication therapy.
• Travel to other WRHA sites as needed and maintain confidentiality of patient information.

Required profile

• Entry‑to‑practice pharmacy degree from an accredited Canadian university or equivalent international credential.
• Licensed or eligible for licensure in Manitoba.
• Previous experience in a hospital pharmacy setting is preferred.
• Strong communication skills and ability to handle urgent situations.

Required skills

• Knowledge of pharmacy information systems and related software.
• Familiarity with current pharmacy computer platforms.
• Analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Flexibility to work varied days, evenings, and weekends.
