Home Support Worker – Personal Care & Household Assistance

About the role

We are seeking a compassionate Home Support Worker to provide personal care, household assistance, and companionship to clients in their homes. This full‑time, term position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the daily lives of individuals requiring support.

Key responsibilities

• Administer bedside and personal care, including bathing, hygiene, and dressing.
• Assist with medication administration as directed.
• Support clients with mobility, exercise, and walking.
• Demonstrate infant care techniques to new parents.
• Prepare, serve, and plan nutritious meals and therapeutic diets.
• Shop for food and household supplies, and perform light housekeeping tasks.
• Launder and mend clothing and linens.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.

Required profile

• Secondary school graduation or equivalent experience.
• 7 months to less than 1 year of relevant experience.
• Reliability, punctuality, and strong client focus.
• Flexibility, initiative, good judgment, and organizational skills.
• Team player with patience, honesty, and dependability.
