About the role

We are seeking a compassionate Home Support Worker to provide bedside and personal care to elderly clients in Vancouver. The role involves assisting with daily activities, medication administration, and offering friendly companionship.

Key responsibilities

  • Administer bedside and personal care, including hygiene and dressing.
  • Administer prescribed medications safely.
  • Assist clients with regular exercise such as walking.
  • Change non‑sterile dressings as needed.
  • Provide companionship and emotional support.

Required profile

  • Secondary school graduation certificate.
  • Personal Support Worker Certificate.
  • 1 to less than 7 months of relevant experience.
  • Physical ability to bend, crouch, kneel, and perform repetitive tasks while sitting, standing, and walking.
  • Personal qualities: punctuality, client focus, patience, and strong interpersonal skills.
