Home Child Care Provider – Full‑time (Vancouver)

About the role

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Home Child Care Provider to join a family in Vancouver on a full‑time, term or contract basis. The role is based in the employer’s home and includes room and board. You will be responsible for the daily care, safety, and development of infants and children while supporting the household.

Key responsibilities

• Provide direct care for infants and children, including bathing, dressing, feeding, and supervising play.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and healthy home environment; perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties.
• Plan and lead age‑appropriate activities, games, and outings.
• Prepare and serve nutritious meals and manage snack times.
• Assist with homework, personal hygiene instruction, and emotional well‑being.
• Transport children to school, appointments, and family trips as needed.
• Keep accurate daily records of activities, health information, and any incidents.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 month to 7 months of child‑care experience.
• Valid certifications in Emergency Child Care First Aid, CPR, and First Aid.
• Clear criminal record check and recent medical exam.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, and occasional nights.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with patience and reliability.

Required skills

• First Aid and CPR certification.
• Emergency child‑care first aid certification.
