Hair Stylist – Full‑time

About the role

ALPHA D Hair Salon is seeking a talented Hair Stylist to join our vibrant Vancouver team. This full‑time, permanent position offers the chance to work in a modern salon environment while developing advanced styling techniques.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze clients' hair and scalp condition and recommend personalized treatments.
• Shampoo, cut, trim, taper, curl, wave, perm, and style hair according to client preferences.
• Apply bleach, tints, dyes, and rinses for coloring, frosting, or streaking.
• Install and maintain hair extensions.
• Supervise apprentices and students during their training periods.
• Suggest hairstyles that complement clients' physical features and preferences.

Required profile

• Secondary school graduation certificate.
• 2 to less than 3 years of professional hair styling experience.
• Availability to work shift schedules.
• Participation in youth employment programs is a plus, with on‑the‑job training, mentorship, and a welcoming environment.
