About the role

We are seeking a compassionate Personal Care Aide to provide in‑home support to individuals with disabilities in Calgary. The role involves assisting with daily living activities, maintaining a safe environment, and offering companionship.

Key responsibilities

• Assist clients with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene, ensuring comfort and safety.
• Support regular exercise routines, such as walking, to promote mobility and health.
• Launder clothing and household linens, maintaining cleanliness and organization.
• Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties to keep the home environment tidy.
• Provide companionship and emotional support, fostering a positive atmosphere.
• Deliver personal care tasks, including dressing and grooming assistance.
• Shop for food and household supplies, managing inventory and budgeting.
• Prepare nutritious meals according to client preferences and dietary needs.
