Home Child Care Provider – Full-time

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Home Child Care Provider to join a family in Vancouver, BC. The role involves caring for infants and children in the employer’s home, ensuring their safety, well‑being, and development while supporting household needs.

Key responsibilities

• Provide daily care for infants and children, including bathing, dressing, feeding, and supervising activities.
• Plan and lead educational and recreational activities such as games, outings, and homework assistance.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and healthy home environment, performing light housekeeping, meal preparation, and grocery shopping.
• Transport children to school, appointments, and extracurricular activities as needed.
• Document daily activities, health information, and follow parental discipline guidelines.

Required profile

• Secondary school graduation or equivalent experience.
• 2‑3 years of child‑care experience in a home setting.
• Valid driver’s licence, clean driving record, and ability to handle up to 30 lb items.
• Excellent communication, patience, reliability, and strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work under pressure, maintain attention to detail, and adapt to flexible schedules.
