Group Insurance and Group Annuity Plans Advisor

About the role

MMA Vézina, the regional office of Marsh McLennan Agency in Canada, is hiring a Group Insurance and Group Annuity Plans Advisor in its Montreal sales team. The role manages an existing client portfolio independently and develops new business, combining client presentations, prospecting calls, proposals and follow-up with insurers. The position is full-time, permanent and hybrid.

Key responsibilities

• Manage an established client portfolio and develop new business opportunities
• Maintain strong relationships with current and prospective clients and keep client files up to date
• Follow up on requests with insurers and identify client needs
• Work with Financial Analysts during renewals to set the best conditions and terms
• Build relationships with internal and external partners and attend events and professional gatherings to expand your network and stay informed on market trends

Required profile

• At least 5 years of experience in group insurance and/or in a related field
• Proficiency in French, as the role involves regional and international clients and partners
• Plus: AMF group insurance of persons licence, bachelor's degree, LLQP designation, and strong understanding of proposal development, pricing and insurer negotiation

Required skills

• Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook
• EPIC software is a plus
