Account Executive – Property & Casualty Insurance

About the role

Marsh McLennan Agency's regional office in Montreal (Vézina Assurances Inc.) is hiring an Account Executive within its Sales Team. You will manage your client portfolio and develop new business opportunities, working closely with an Account Representative to deliver quality service and keep client files up to date.

Key responsibilities

• Manage client portfolios and pursue new business through client presentations, prospecting calls, proposals and other activities
• Maintain client relationships and follow up on requests with insurers
• Identify markets, understand clients' needs and seek new opportunities
• Keep client files current and work with the Account Representative to deliver quality service
• Build relationships with internal and external partners and attend events and professional gatherings to expand your network and stay informed on market trends

Required profile

• At least five years of experience in commercial-lines damage insurance and business development
• Damage insurance licence issued by the Autorité des marchés financiers (AMF)
• Proficiency in English, as you will be the primary contact for assigned clients and external partners

Required skills

• Proficiency in Excel, Word and Outlook
• Plus: CIP, FCIP and/or CRM diploma, university or college degree, EPIC software, licenses in other Canadian provinces, knowledge of other Microsoft Office 365 tools
