General Labourer – Manufacturing

About the role

We are looking for a reliable general labourer to support our manufacturing operations. The role involves a variety of hands‑on tasks in a dusty, noisy factory environment, with opportunities for on‑the‑job training and mentorship.

Key responsibilities

• Transport raw materials, finished products and equipment throughout the plant manually.
• Check, weigh, sort, pack, crate and package materials and products.
• Assist machine operators, assemblers and other workers with various tasks.
• Clean machines and immediate work areas, grind and buff seams, joints and rough surfaces.
• Examine products for defects to ensure quality standards are met.
• Cut materials using power tools or by hand.

Required profile

• Secondary school graduation.
• Valid driver’s licence and ability to handle heavy loads (over 45 kg).
• Physically demanding work with standing, walking and manual dexterity.
• Attention to detail and ability to work both independently and as a team player.

Required skills

• Operation of power tools.
• Material handling and manual lifting.
• Basic quality inspection.
