Meat Cutter - Retail or Wholesale

About the role

We are looking for a dedicated meat cutter to join our retail and wholesale operations in Calgary. The position works in a cold, refrigerated environment and involves preparing a variety of meat products for our customers.

Key responsibilities

• Clean meats to prepare for processing or cutting.
• Prepare special cuts of meat ordered by customers.
• Cut, trim and prepare standard cuts of meat.
• Remove bones from meat and cut poultry into parts.

Required profile

• Secondary school graduation certificate.
• Ability to work in a cold/refrigerated environment.
• Previous experience in meat cutting is an asset.

Required skills

• Operate a band saw.
• Use manual cutting utensils.
• Operate a slicing machine.
