About the role

We are looking for an experienced cook to join our kitchen team at South Silk Road Restaurant in Edmonton. The role involves preparing high‑quality dishes in a fast‑paced environment while maintaining our standards of taste and presentation.

Key responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work station.
  • Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during shift and weekend periods.
  • Monitor inventory levels and assist with stock rotation.
  • Adhere to food safety and hygiene regulations at all times.

Required profile

  • 3 to less than 5 years of professional cooking experience.
  • Secondary (high school) graduation certificate.
  • Availability to work shifts, including weekends.
  • Ability to communicate in English; knowledge of Chinese is an asset.
