About the role

Braven, a restaurant in Edmonton run by Oliver & Bonacini, is looking for a part-time Breakfast Cook. The restaurant serves elevated cuisine in a relaxed yet vibrant setting, and its cooks are expected to show initiative, teamwork and a strong commitment to food quality and guest experience.

Key responsibilities

• Execute delegated preparation and service tasks as directed by the Sous Chefs and Chef
• Prepare and cook breakfast dishes consistently, precisely and with attention to detail
• Make sure all plates meet quality, presentation and timing standards
• Maintain a clean, organized and food-safe workstation at all times
• Work in a fast-paced, high-energy kitchen during peak breakfast service
• Follow proper food handling, storage and sanitation practices
• Use high-quality ingredients and contribute ideas for menu improvements
• Develop culinary skills and support a collaborative, professional team
• Perform other duties as required

Required profile

• Previous experience in a professional kitchen, preferably in breakfast or brunch service
• Ability to stay calm and efficient in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
• Strong time management, attention to detail and ability to follow recipes and directions
• Reliable, punctual and highly organized
• Available for early morning weekday and weekend shifts, and flexible for holidays
• Legally eligible to work in Canada
