About the role
We are looking for an experienced cook to join our kitchen team at South Silk Road Restaurant in Edmonton. The role involves preparing high‑quality dishes in a fast‑paced environment while maintaining our standards of taste and presentation.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work station.
- Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during shift and weekend periods.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with stock rotation.
- Adhere to food safety and hygiene regulations at all times.
Required profile
- 3 to less than 5 years of professional cooking experience.
- Secondary (high school) graduation certificate.
- Availability to work shifts, including weekends.
- Ability to communicate in English; knowledge of Chinese is an asset.
