Food Service Team Member – Sushi Chef

About the role

Join Bento’s fast‑paced restaurant team as a Food Service Team Member specializing in sushi preparation. You will work at the Walmart location in Valleyfield, delivering high‑quality dishes and exceptional guest experiences in a collaborative environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and measure ingredients for sushi, salads, rice bowls and other menu items.
• Assemble sushi rolls and other dishes following Bento’s recipes and presentation standards.
• Answer customer questions, provide recommendations, and ensure a friendly service experience.
• Maintain a clean and organized workstation in line with nutrition and sanitation guidelines.
• Support the team with any additional tasks required for smooth operations.

Required profile

• Previous experience in the food service industry; sushi preparation is a strong advantage.
• Ability to lift up to 15 kg (33 lb) and stand for extended periods.
• Strong communication skills and a willingness to work both independently and as part of a team.
