Food Service Attendant – Airport Café

About the role

Join a busy airport café team serving travelers at Victoria International Airport. As a Food Service Attendant you will provide friendly, efficient service while maintaining high food safety and cleanliness standards.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests courteously and take orders.
• Enter orders accurately into the point‑of‑sale (POS) system and handle cash, credit, and tip pool transactions.
• Prepare and serve a variety of hot, cold, and frozen beverages and food items following recipes and portion controls.
• Complete opening, ongoing, and closing checklists, including cleaning and sanitising work areas.
• Maintain a tidy, health‑compliant environment and perform any additional duties assigned by the supervisor.

Required profile

• At least six months experience in a food‑service or hospitality setting (preferred).
• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
• Basic mathematical ability for cash handling and change making.
• Food‑handler permit and any brand certifications required by law.
• Ability to stand for long periods and work in confined airport spaces.
