Food Safety & Compliance Specialist

About the role

Join Steritech Brand Standards as a Food Safety & Compliance Specialist and help hotel, restaurant, and grocery clients maintain brand standards, food quality, and safe service for their customers. You will travel to client sites, conduct assessments, and coach teams on best practices in food safety and sanitation.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct on‑site assessments to verify compliance with regulatory, industry, and proprietary brand standards.
• Observe food preparation, cooking, and sanitation practices to ensure safety and health standards are met.
• Partner with clients to identify root causes of non‑conformities and develop corrective action plans.
• Teach and coach client staff on creating a safer, healthier workplace for employees and customers.
• Travel up to 50% of the time (approximately 10 days per month), including evenings and weekends as needed.

Required profile

• Ability to obtain and maintain a CP‑FS certification.
• Flexible Sunday‑to‑Saturday schedule to accommodate personal commitments.
• Willingness to travel by car or plane up to 50% of work time.
• Physical ability to lift 10 lb, stoop, kneel, crouch, and reach.
• Excellent listening, communication, organization, and time‑management skills.
• Safe driving record and commitment to safe work practices.
