Food Counter Attendant – Fast Food Service

About the role

Join McDonald's as a Food Counter Attendant in North Vancouver, delivering quick and friendly service in a fast‑paced restaurant environment. You will be responsible for preparing and presenting food items while ensuring a clean and welcoming dining area for guests.

Key responsibilities

• Clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs.
• Load bussing pans and trays.
• Keep records of food quantities used.
• Package take‑out orders and portion and wrap foods.
• Prepare, heat, and finish simple food items using manual and electrical appliances.
• Serve customers at the counter, take orders, and operate point‑of‑sale equipment.
• Clean and sanitize kitchen work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment.

Required profile

• Client‑focused with a positive attitude.
• Reliable team player who can multitask under pressure.
• Physically able to stand for long periods and handle repetitive tasks.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, nights, weekends, and overtime.

Required skills

• Use manual and electrical kitchen appliances for food preparation.
• Operate point‑of‑sale equipment to take orders and process payments.
