Financial Analyst – Investment Risk & Advisory

About the role

The Canadian Investment Regulatory Organization is looking for a Financial Analyst to evaluate financial risk and deliver investment advice. You will collect and analyse investment data, prepare industry and economic outlooks, and support budgeting and cash‑flow planning for the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate financial risk and analyse company, stock and bond information.
• Collect and examine investment data to identify trends and yields.
• Prepare analytical reports, industry outlooks and briefing notes for senior officials.
• Provide investment recommendations to clients, pension fund managers and securities agents.
• Assist in preparing operating and investment budgets and short‑ and long‑term cash‑flow plans.
• Develop risk‑management plans and participate in the financial aspects of contracts and tenders.
• Perform administrative tasks and support the use of artificial intelligence in analysis.
