Financial Analyst – Finance Business Partner

About the role

As a Financial Analyst within Deloitte's Finance Business Partner team, you will support the Financial Planning & Analysis function for internal support services. Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will work closely with executive leaders to close month‑end results, improve operational efficiency, and standardise reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Finance Manager in month‑end close and financial result delivery.
• Drive operational efficiencies across the finance team.
• Develop and execute standardised reporting templates.
• Prepare and present analytical insights, trend analyses, and risk/opportunity assessments.
• Perform weekly financial reporting, forecasting and planning activities.
• Collaborate with partners and operational teams to support strategic decision‑making.

Required profile

• A degree in business, commerce or a related field.
• 1‑2 years of experience in a finance role (full‑time, co‑op or internship) in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong business fundamentals, financial acumen and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strategic thinking and curiosity to investigate root causes of issues.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel proficiency, including handling large data sets.
